Just so everyone is clear, no animals or children were harmed in the making of this campaign. The bottle posters were all done in photoshop by combining and manipulating images.
The photo of the little girl floating with the water bottles was shot at our local hot spring pool on the first snowy day of the year. I did not take a dead seagull to the pool. The dead bird was added in photoshop, as an afterthought.
NO WATER BOTTLES WERE PURCHASED FOR USE IN THIS CAMPAIGN. Our town’s recycling bins are behind the pool and I was easily able to retrieve all the plastic water bottles I could use. Even in this small mountain town, people throw away tens of thousands of plastic bottles a year.
